Steven Teller, President
As President and founder of IOT Systems, LLC, Mr. Teller has primary responsibility for all the Company’s business activities. He is also Principal Architect for Measurement Systems Software and Hardware, providing high-level technical support for payload in-orbit testing of communications satellites.

During his 25 plus years working at COMSAT, Mr. Teller was involved in all aspects of payload in-orbit testing. Testing programs he supported include Intelsat V-IBS, G-Star1, SBS-4, -5 and -6, all Ku Galaxy, all Eutelsat, ACTS, and DIRECTV satellites, EchoStar 5 through 9, Palapa-C1 and C2, and ACeS.

Scott A. Borgsmiller, Vice President
As Vice President of IOT Systems, LLC, Dr. Borgsmiller is involved in designing, implementing and testing automated measurement systems for in-orbit testing of communications satellites.

Dr. Borgsmiller served as the manager of the In-Orbit Test Development Department at COMSAT Laboratories/LMGT where he worked on such projects as the Orion-2, ACeS Garuda-1, PanAmSat-7. EchoStar-5, -6 and -7, Sirius-1 through –3 and DIRECTV-5.

Dave Whalen, Vice President, Satellite Systems Consulting
Dr. Whalen brings over 30 years of experience in satellite communications to his role as Vice President, Satellite Systems Consulting at IOT Systems, LLC. Dr. Whalen started his career with the first US domestic satellite operators – Western Union and RCA. He also worked for satellite manufacturers Lockheed Martin, General Electric and Ford Aerospace (now Space Systems/Loral).

Dr. Whalen has broad expertise encompassing orbit analysis, attitude control systems analysis, launch vehicle systems engineering, satellite control center design, TT&C systems, as well as marketing and regulatory issues. He has worked on communications satellites in India, Japan and Hong Kong, as well as in the United States.
